Hi, my name is Nhi. I am an independent nail technician based at Lux Nails. I specialize in acrylic and builder gel nails. I keep my own online booking separate from the salon, therefore, all booking and cancelling will go through me directly on my Instagram, and not through LUX. You can contact me anytime via Instagram: nails_bynhi

Setting my own rules and policy help me run things smoothly and to keep a respectful relationship with my clients. Thank you for taking the time to review my policy below and for trusting me with your nails. 

 

My Policy

1. Other nails shop/ nail technician's work

  •  I take pride in my work, therefore, I DO NOT fill, or work over other people's work due to the differences in methods, preparation, application, and products used by the previous nail tech/ other salons. 

 

  • I DO NOT offer acrylic removal service, or any type of gel removal such as Gel X, or Gel builder for the same reason above. You can have them removed at any salon of your choice prior to your scheduled appointment. If you’re a new client, or if your nails weren’t done by me, please make sure to come with bare nails. Let's start fresh! 

 

2.  Booking & deposit​

  •   I required a card on file and a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $20 at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied toward your nails service on the day of your appointment. A processing fee of 3.5% + .30c (=$1) will be added to your deposit total that goes toward the card processing company and is non refundable. The remaining balance will be paid at check out after your service is completed. 
     

  • Appointments booked without a card saved on file will be declined.

  • New clients are required to fill out and sign “New client form” on the booking site immediately right after paying deposit payment. Please carefully read instructions on booking site when booking.

  • If you're booking 2 or more appointments, please submit the request separately for each appointment. 

​

  • The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE/ NON-TRANSFERABLE if you were to cancel for any reason.

 

  • Appointments are not considered officially booked until you receive a confirmation text to your phone number, or an acceptance email. Please make sure your email and phone number are provided correctly when booking.

  • As a courtesy, you will receive an automated reminder text 48 HOURS before your appointment. Please be sure to confirm your appointment or make changes by using the attached link in the reminder text. 
     

  • As I sometimes have a wait list of clients eager to fill any cancellations, I kindly request a prompt response to start looking for replacement. â€‹â€‹

3. Late policy

  •  If you believe you are running late to your appointment, please notify me immediately with your estimated arrival time frame.

  • Please keep in mind, if you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically cancelled as I will no longer have enough time to complete your service before my next appointment.

  • ​Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrival, missed appointments, and any result of forfeiture of deposits, and last minute cancellation fee.

4.  Cancellation/ reschedule policy​

  • Deposits will not be refunded for all cancelations. Your appointments are very important to me, and it is reserved personally for you for weeks in advance. I understand sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, therefore I respectfully request appointments be cancelled/ rescheduled  48 HOURS before your scheduled time. This ensures that I can make appropriate arrangement to reschedule your appointment while also giving other clients the opportunity to fill your cancelled spot!​

  • Any cancellation made less than 24 HOURS prior to scheduled appointment time or no show will be charged the remaining balance of the service base price as last minute cancellation fee.
     

  • No show will result in the inability to book with me again.

5.  Guarantee

  • My acrylic/ gel nails are guaranteed for 5 days after your appointment; EXCLUDING BREAKAGE! 

  • If you lose an enhancement or notice chips, lifting in the first 5 days, please contact me ASAP to schedule a free repair. 

  • Repair after 5 days or for breakage, tears, corner breaks are $5 AND UP/each nail (depending on length and if that nail has a design that needs to be redrawn again)

Please remember, nails are jewels, not tools!  Be kind to your nails and they will look beautiful for weeks after your service.

I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO:

Rude, mean, or disrespectful people.

Anyone more than 10 minutes late for an appointment. 

 Anyone has multiple cancellations at short notice. (less than 24HRS before appointment)

Badly bitten nails or too short to work with. If you do bite your nails, please send me a picture of your nails to see if I’m able to work with them BEFORE BOOKING. 
Anyone with a nail condition I suspect may be contagious.
• Anyone with open or infected wounds on the nail area.
• Anyone in ill health that I suspect may be contagious.
